Carter Distribution is a privately held 3PL, headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, that specializes in
fulfillment, Pick & Pack, Value Added Services, packaging, storage, inventory management, domestic and
international transportation and parcel shipping solutions.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Office Admin to manage our daily financial
records and support general office operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in accounting
software, possess a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, and be able to work independently
to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, as well as handle front desk duties and administrative
tasks as noted and as assigned.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, accounts
receivable, and general ledger.Process invoices and payments efficiently.Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.Collaborate with the TEAM to resolve any financial discrepancies.Greet visitors and manage incoming calls.Manage mail and deliveries.Assist with scheduling and appointments.Perform general administrative tasks as required.May answer calls and emails from customers and responds in a prompt, professional, and
friendly manner.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Proficiency in QuickBooks OnlineHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Excellent data entry skills.Strong organizational and time management skills.Experience with front desk operations and strong customer service skills.Advanced Microsoft Office Products skills.Flexible schedule, ability to work overtime as needed. Approximately 35-40 hours per weekEffective interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and listening skills.Demonstrated ability to successfully manage concurrent projects, multiple priorities, and meet
deadlines.This position will work in a distribution center setting. Typically, this environment is subject to:Exposure to extreme temperature changes, moisture, noise, odors, and moving equipment.The ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.Lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs., with help.Performing other physical activities such as reaching, bending and climbing.Apply for this job
